December 2023 - Soils4Africa training workshop in Mozambique

Building on the collaboration between Soils4Africa Project, International Institute of Tropical Agriculture (IITA) and the Agricultural Research Institute of Mozambique, a training workshop was organized at Namupla province, Mozambique. Between December 4^th and 8^th, 13 participants were trained by Dr. Jeroen Huising and Dr. Samuel A. Mesele and (IITA) on the operating protocols and practicalities of collecting soil samples from across Mozambique. The training finished successfully with a visit to one of the sampling points. The project team is looking forward to collecting the first soil samples for analysis from Mozambique.
